Making Dill butter

Some of the stuff
Dill Butter oh yes! Butter made with herbs just is always a nice thing and to have it ready in a pinch is great!

This was a great way to spend a cool day. The weather made it easier so that this concoction would not get to soft in the counter.

Through out the year I have so many herbs from the garden and I try to save them in a variety of ways.

This Dill Butter is easy and delicious on so many dish's

Parchment or wax paper
Chopped dill
Mix

Here is what you need

  • Salad Spinner or two clean kitchen towels
  • Small bow
  • Chopping Board
  • Scissors or sharp knife
  • Spatula or wooden spoon
  • Wax Paper
  • Two rubber bands

Clean your fresh dill. Take off the branches and stems. Chop the dill. Bring your butter to room temperature. Mix the Dill and butter together in the bowl.

Place the butter (mixed) on to the wax paper.

Roll the wax paper up and secure with a rubber band or kitchen twine at each end. Place the butter in the freezer until firm. remove from freezer and cut as needed. Now that was easy!
